1. Healthy, Low Fat Apple Bran Muffins
1 c. plain non fat yogurt, 1 c. chopped apple (1 med.), 1/2 c. applesauce, 2 egg whites or 1/4 c. cholesterol free egg product, 1 c. oat bran, 1 c. all purpose flour or wheat flour, 3 tsp. baking powder, 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg, 1 tbsp. packed brown sugar

1 c. 100% bran cereal, 2 c. All Bran cereal, 1 c. water, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 c. buttermilk, 2 1/2 c. flour, 2 1/2 tsp. soda, 1/2 tsp. salt, 3/4 c. raisins (opt.)
