Chapatis Recipe
Ingredients:
3 c. whole wheat flour4 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. salt
Enough water to make stiff dough, about 1 c.
Cooking Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Knead until you have workable dough. Roll in balls about as big as a walnut; use flour on rolling pin and board. Roll out very thin with rolling pin. Fry on a griddle. Serve hot with butter and jelly. Makes 3 dozen. Children love these but I have also serve them as appetizers.Other Recipes you might like:
