Popcorn Balls Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
Few drops food color
8 c. popped corn (about 1/2 c. unpopped)

Cooking Directions:

Heat sugar, corn syrup, 1/4 cup butter, the salt and food color to simmering in 4 quart Dutch oven over medium high heat, stirring constantly. Add popped corn. Cook and stir until corn is well coated, about 3 minutes. Cool slightly.

Shape mixture into balls with hands dipped in cold water. Place on waxed paper. Cool. Wrap it individually in plastic wrap or bag and tie. 1 dozen popcorn balls.
