Zucchini Bars With Caramel Frosting Recipe
Ingredients:
3 c. flour1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cloves
3/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. peeled and grated zucchini
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. butterscotch chips or raisins
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. milk
1 to 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Cooking Directions:
Cream together:3/4 c. butter1 c. brown sugar1/2 c. sugar1 tsp. vanilla2 eggs
Combine both mixtures. Gradually add:
2 c. peeled and grated zucchini1/2 c. chopped walnuts1/2 c. butterscotch chips or raisins
Pour into greased and floured 10 x 15 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Frost with Caramel Frosting.
CARAMEL FROSTING:
1/2 c. butter1 c. brown sugar1/4 c. milk1 to 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Melt butter. Add brown sugar and bring to a boil for 2 minutes. Add milk and bring to second boil. Remove from heat. Add enough powdered sugar to spread.
