Hamburger Steak In Spanish Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef1 egg
1 c. cracker crumbs
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Cooking Directions:
Combine ground beef, egg, crumbs, onion, milk, salt and pepper. Mix well, shape into 6 large patties. Cook until well done on both sides in skillet. While these are cooking, mix sauce in another skillet, bring to boil and reduce heat.SAUCE:
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce1/2 c. water1 tbsp. sugar1 tbsp. chili powder1/2 tsp. salt
Simmer until thick, pour over steaks.
