Coconut Diamonds Recipe

Ingredients:

6 tbsp. softened butter
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Cooking Directions:

Cream together butter, sugar, and salt. Stir in flour. Pat into bottom of 9x9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until light brown. Beat only until blended the eggs, vanilla, sugar, adding gradually the flour and salt. Stir in flaked coconut, nuts and chocolate chips. Spread mixture over baked layer. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees or until toothpick comes out clean. You can double this and use jelly roll pan.
