Green Mountain Gingersnaps Recipe
Ingredients:
3/4 c. shortening1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger
Cooking Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream shortening in bowl. Add sugar, molasses and egg; mix thoroughly. Sift remaining ingredients together. Stir into creamed mixture. Roll into small balls; dip in additional sugar. Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.Other Recipes you might like:
