Honey's Gumdrop Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c. Crisco2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3 to 4 c. cut up gum drops, fruit flavored, do not use licorice ones
Cooking Directions:
Mix Crisco, brown sugar, eggs. Stir in milk, sift dry ingredients together. Stir in and mix in gumdrops. Chill 1 hour. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Drop by teaspoon 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.Can add 1 cup chopped nuts and 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice.
