Oatmeal Applesauce Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c. flour1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 egg whites
2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1 c. unsweetened applesauce
1/2 c. raisins (chopped)
Cooking Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder, allspice and salt. Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add egg whites, beat well. Add dry ingredients. Stir in oats, applesauce and raisins. Mix well.Drop by level teaspoon onto baking sheet. Bake 11 minutes at 375 degrees or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on rack. About 5 dozen cookies.
