Marshmallow Crispy Treats Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter6 c. Kraft miniature marshmallows
6 c. of crisp rice cereal
Cooking Directions:
Microwave butter in large mixing bowl on high speed for 45 seconds or until it is melted. Add marshmallows; toss to coat with the butter. Microwave 1 1/2 minutes or until smooth when stirred, stirring after 45 seconds. Immediately add cereal; stir until well coated. Press into greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Cool; cut into squares.Makes approximately 24.
CONVENTIONAL: Melt butter in a 3 quart saucepan over low heat add marshmallows; stir until melted and well blended. Remove from heat. Stir in cereal until well coated. Continue as directed.
Conventional cooking time: 10 minutes. Variations: Substitute post fruity or cocoa Pebbles cereal for rice cereal.
