Microwave Lemon Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
1 tbsp. cornstarch1/2 c. water
1 c. water at room temp.
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
Dash salt
Cooking Directions:
In a deep 1 quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole combine sugar and cornstarch. Gradually stir in water. Heat uncovered on full power 3 to 4 minutes or until sauce has thickened and is smooth. Stir occasionally.Add butter, lemon juice and salt. Serve warm or cold. Great over cake or ice cream. Makes 1 cup.
