Artichokes With Lemon Garlic Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
2 artichokes or 4 sm.Juice of lg. lemon
1/2 stick butter
1 garlic clove, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Directions:
Microwave or saute until blended and melted.Cut off artichoke stem at base and the spiny part leaf tips and discard. Boil large pot of water. Place in artichokes and use lid to hold them under water. Cook for approximately 1 hour. To test when ready, stab with fork at bottom for tenderness.
To cut down time steam in microwave half covered with water for about 1/2 hour. Drain and pour sauce over and serve.
