Shrimp Egg Foo Yong Recipes


1. Egg Foo Yong
4 eggs, beaten, 1 (16 oz.) chop suey or Chinese vegetables, drained, 10 oz. cooked meat: ground beef, shrimp, ham, or no meat at all, 1/2 c. green onions, chopped, 2 tsp. chicken instant bouillon crystals

2. Egg Foo Yong
4 oz. shrimp, chicken or pork (cooked), 2 lg. eggs, beaten with 2 tsp. water, 1 c. bean sprouts, 1/4 c. chopped scallions, 1/8 tsp. salt, Dash garlic powder, 2 tsp. peanut or vegetable oil, 1 1/2 tsp. soy sauce, 1 tsp. each cornstarch and rice vinegar, 1/2 c. water, Dash ground ginger

3. Egg Foo Yong
1 1/2 c. bean sprouts, 3/4 c. onion, thin sliced, 1/4 c. thin sliced celery strips, about 2 inches long, 8 eggs, 1 tsp. soy sauce, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 1 1/2 c. cooked meat (ham, shrimp, crab)

4. Egg Foo Yong
1 tbsp. salad oil, 1 med. green pepper, chopped, 1 med. onion, chopped, 1 c. cleaned cooked shrimp, chopped, 1 c. bean sprouts, rinsed and drained, 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced, 2-3 tbsp. soy sauce, 5 eggs, 1 tbsp. salad oil, Hot Soy Sauce (see below)

5. Shrimp Fo Yong
3/4 c. (1/2 lb.) tiny, cooked shrimp or chopped cooked seafood, 1 c. bean sprouts, 1 tbsp. chopped green onions, 3 mushrooms, chopped, Some salt & celery, 4 eggs, 1 c. chicken broth, 1/4 tsp. sugar, 2 tbsp. soy sauce, 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/4 c. cold water



6. Egg Foo Yong
2 tbsp. salad oil, 1 med. green pepper, chopped, 1 med. onion, chopped, 1 c. cooked meat or shrimp, chopped, 1 c. bean sprouts, drained, 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, chopped, 2-3 tbsp. soy sauce, 5 eggs

7. Eggs Foo Yong
1 tbsp. salad oil, 1 med. green pepper, chopped, 1 med. onion, chopped, 1 c. cleaned, cooked shrimp, chopped, 1 c. bean sprouts, rinsed & drained, 1 can (8 oz.) water chestnuts, drained & sliced, 2 to 3 tbsp. soy sauce, 5 eggs, 1 tbsp. salad oil, Hot Soy Sauce (see below), 2 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/4 c. cold water, 2 tbsp. soy sauce

8. Shrimp Egg Foo Yong
1 c. drained can bean sprouts, 2/3 c. chopped onions, 1 c. creamed, cooked shrimp, 6 eggs, Salad oil, 2 tsp. soy sauce, 1 tsp. cornstarch, 3/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. water

9. Chinese Foo Yong Hay
3 eggs, 1 tbsp. brown sugar, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 3/4 lb. ground pork, cooked & drained, 1/4 lb. cooked, shelled shrimp (opt.), 1/2 c. celery, chopped, 1 med. onion, chopped, 1/4 c. flour, 1 tbsp. cooking oil, 4 green onions, thinly sliced (opt.)
