Cajun Deep Fried Turkey Recipes


1. Deep-fried Turkey
1 (12-15 lb.) turkey, 1 needle (from feed store for horse or cattle), Butter, Garlic salt, 4-5 gal. peanut oil (can use Crisco oil), Cajun seasoning

2. Cajun Fried Turkey
1 (12 to 15 lbs.) turkey, 1 lb. real butter, 1/2 c. Zesty Italian dressing, 3 tbsp. Cajun and shake seasoning, 1 tbsp. Tabasco, 1 tbsp. liquid onion juice

3. Charleston Fried Yardbird
1 turkey, Salt (as much as you want), Pepper (as much as you want), Cajun seasoning (as much as you want), Lots of oil (about 5 gallons), Propane cooker with large pot and basket, Thermometer

4. Fried Turkey Cajun Style
1 lg. pot, 5 gallons pure lard or shortening

5. Cajun Fried Turkey
1 (14-16 lb.) turkey, 1/4 c. Chachere's Cajun seasoning, 1 (12 oz.) can of beer, Peanut oil



6. Cajun Fried Whole Turkey
16 oz. Italian salad dressing, 1 tbsp. garlic powder, 1 tbsp. onion powder, 1 tsp. celery salt, 2-3 tbsp. Lea & Perin, 1/3 bottle paprika pepper, 1/2 can of beer (optional), 3 heaping tsp. Poultry Magic seasoning, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. black pepper, 1 tsp. white pepper, 2 tsp. cayenne pepper, 4 dashes Tabasco
