Chile Cheese Balls Recipe

Ingredients:

2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies, well drained
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 tsp. salt

Cooking Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients. Shape dough into 3/4 inch balls and place about 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake until set, about 15-18 minutes. Serve immediately. About 6 dozen.

Appetizers may be shaped and stored in the freezer for later use. When needed, place frozen dough balls about 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet and bake about 18 minutes at 375 degrees.
