Polish Sausage And Sauerkraut Recipe
Ingredients:
2 lbs. fresh Polish sausage2 bay leaves
1 slice onion
2 cans beer
1 tbsp. caraway seed
Cooking Directions:
Boil Polish sausage in beer with the same amount of water until completely tender with the above ingredients.Place 1 (#10) can of sauerkraut in kettle with 2 stalks of celery, finely cut, 2 slices of onion, finely cut, 1 carrot, grated, 1 cup water; mix together and spread the Polish sausage with the sauerkraut. Cook for 1 hour.
If Polish sausage is to be had without sauerkraut, place on grill and brown until hot.
