Tomatillo Salsa Recipes
1. Chili Verde
1 (7 oz.) can diced chilis, 1 (12 or 16 oz.) can greed chili salsa, 18 oz. fresh, chopped tomatillos, 1 chopped onion, 2 lbs. turkey tenderloins, cut into bite size pieces, 1 sm. clove garlic, minced
2. Michael's Salsa Fresca
8 med. tomatoes, 3 tomatillos, 1 1/2 med. onion, 3 jalapeno chili peppers, 4 serrano chili peppers, 3 tbsp. sweet chili sauce, Chinese, 2 tbsp. cilantro, 1/2 tsp. garlic salt, 1/2 tsp. seasoned pepper
3. Green Salsa
12 tomatillos, chopped, 1 med. onion, chopped, 1 or 2 fresh jalapeno peppers, chopped, 1 tbsp. snipped fresh cilantro, 1 tbsp. sugar (optional)
4. Green Chile Stew With Pork
3 lb. boneless pork, cubed into 1 1/2 inch pieces or 4-5 lb. pork butt, deboned and trimmed, 3 tbsp. peanut oil, 3 stalks of celery, 2 med. tomatoes (in season), 5 tomatillos, 7 green chilies, roasted, peeled, seeded and chopped, 4 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed, preferably homemade chicken stock or 2 cans Campbell's chicken broth and 1 1/2 to 2 cans water, Salt to taste, LaVictoria brand salsa jalapeno
5. Tomatillo Salsa
1/2 lb. (about 4) tomatillos, 2 tbsp. chopped onion, 1 Serrano chile pepper, seeded, chopped, 1 garlic clove, crushed, 1 tbsp. lime juice, 1 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro, 1/4 tsp. salt
