Barbecued Pork Ribs Recipe

Ingredients:

1 c. catsup
1 c. water
2-3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. bottled hot pepper sauce
3-4 lb. meaty spareribs, cut into pieces

Cooking Directions:

For sauce: In a small saucepan combine catsup, water, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, celery seed, salt and hot pepper sauce. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Set aside.

In a covered grill, arrange preheated coals around a drip pan; test for medium heat above the pan. Place spareribs on grill rack over drip pan but not over coals. Lower grill hood. Grill for 25 minutes. Turn and grill covered for 20 minutes.

Brush sauce onto both sides of spareribs. Continue grilling the spareribs on an uncovered grill, about 15 minutes more or until no pink remains. Brush occasionally with the sauce. Makes 4 servings.
