Mock Ham Loaf Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb. hamburger1/2 lb. ground hot dogs
1 c. cracker crumbs
1 egg
3/4 brown sugar
3/4 c. water
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Salt and pepper
Cooking Directions:
Mix meat with cracker crumbs and egg and half of syrup prepared as follows.SYRUP:
3/4 brown sugar3/4 c. water1 tbsp. vinegar1/2 tsp. dry mustardSalt and pepper
Shape into loaf and place in baking dish. Pour rest of syrup over loaf and bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
