Walnut Cheese Loaf Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c. chopped walnuts1 1/2 c. cooked brown rice
1 c. tomato puree
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. bread crumbs
3 eggs
1/4 c. chopped onions
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1 tbsp. celery seed
Salt to taste
1 to 1 1/2 c. cubed cheese, cut in 1/2 inch cubes (Cheddar, Jack)
Cooking Directions:
Mix all ingredients except cheese. Put half of mixture into greased loaf pan. Place cubed cheese on top and cover with remaining rice mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.This is a great dish to serve to vegetarians as a main dish!
