Citrus Chiffon Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

1 env. unflavored gelatin
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
4 egg yolks
1/2 c. fresh lemon juice
1/2 c. fresh orange juice
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
4 egg whites
1/3 c. sugar
1 (9 inch) pastry shell, baked

Cooking Directions:

Mix gelatin, 1/2 cup sugar and salt. Beat together egg yolks, juices and water. Stir into gelatin mix. Cook on medium heat to boiling. Remove from heat, stir in peels. Chill until mixture mounds when tested. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Add 1/3 cup sugar and fold into gelatin mix. Pour in shell. Refrigerate. Serve topped with whipped cream.
