Mince Meat Recipe
Ingredients:
7 lbs. apples, chopped2 lbs. raisins
2 lbs. currants
1 lb. sultana raisins
1 tbsp. mace
1 tbsp. allspice
1 tbsp. nutmeg
2 1/2 lbs. brown sugar
1 qt. brown sherry
1 pt. whiskey
2 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. cloves
1 tbsp. salt
Cooking Directions:
Add orange juice to each pie as baked, and a little brandy. Makes about 16 pies. Bake at 450 degrees for 45 minutes.Other Recipes you might like:
