Easy Pat-a-pie Oil Pastry Recipe

Ingredients:

2 c. sifted all purpose flour
2 tsp. sugar
Pinch of salt
2/3 c. salad oil
3 tbsp. milk

Cooking Directions:

Into an 8 or 9 inch pie plate, sift together flour, sugar, and salt. With fork, whip together oil and milk. Pour over flour mixture. Mix with fork until all flour is dampened.

Reserve about 1/3 cup of dough for top crust. Press remaining dough against bottom and sides of pie plate. Crimp edges. For single crust pie, prick sides and bottom with fork and bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. May also fill with a fruit filling and sprinkle top with remaining dough. Bake as directed in a fruit pie recipe.
