Mile High Chiffon Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
4 beaten egg yolks3 tbsp. lemon juice
1 sm. can crushed pineapple (juice & all)
1/4 c. sugar
Cooking Directions:
Cook above ingredients in a double boiler until thickened. Stir in: 1/4 c. cold waterCool slightly. Add 1/4 teaspoon salt to 4 egg whites. Beat until stiff. Gradually beat in 1/2 cup sugar. Fold in custard mixture. Place in baked pie shell. Top with whipping cream. Refrigerate.
