Plain Pastry (2 Crust) Recipe

Ingredients:

2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening (Crisco)
1/2 c. water (cold)

Cooking Directions:

Mix flour and salt. Cut in shortening (will be course about the size of peas). Add water and mix well. Form into a ball with hands. Divide in half and roll out on a floured surface. For an unfilled crust, bake at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
