Green Tomato Mincemeat Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c. chopped green tomatoes1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 cinnamon
1/2 c. raisins
3 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. mace
Pie crust
Cooking Directions:
Cover tomatoes with water and boil for 2 minutes. Drain and add other ingredients. Put in a pastry lined pie pan. Put on top crust; slit to let steam escape. Crimp around the edge of crust. Bake at 375 degrees for 55 minutes or until done. Serve hot or cold.Other Recipes you might like:
