Corn Bread Stuffing Recipes


1. Corn Bread Stuffing
4 c. crumbled corn bread, 2 c. dry bread crumbs, 3 1/2 c. chicken stock, 3 eggs, 1 c. milk, 2 tsp. salt (I usually do not use this much), 1 tsp. pepper, 1 c. chopped celery, 1 tsp. poultry seasoning or sage, 1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped onion

1/4 lb. pork sausage, 2 c. dry bread crumbs, 2 c. corn bread, crumbled, 1 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper, 1/4 tsp. rubbed sage, 1/2 c. butter, melted, 1/2 c. onion, chopped, 1/2 c. celery, chopped

3. Sweet Corn Bread And Sausage Stuffing
1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. chopped celery, 1/2 c. butter, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 tsp. rubbed sage, 1/2 tsp. pepper, 1/2 to 1 lb. breakfast sausage in tube, 6 slices dry wheat bread, cubed, 4 c. coarsely crumbled sweetened corn bread, 1 1/2 c. turkey broth or water

1 lb. mild or hot bulk pork sausage, 1/2 lb. butter, 2 c. chopped onions, 1 1/2 c. chopped celery, 2 c. soft white bread crumbs, 2 eggs, beaten, Salt and pepper to taste, 2-3 tbsp. sage, 5 c. crumbled yellow corn bread

5. Southern Corn Bread Stuffing - High Altitude
3/4 cup celery, chopped, 1 cup onion, chopped, butter, craisins or dried cranberries, to taste, 2 cans chicken broth (add another can if you prefer), sage or poultry seasoning, to taste (if desired), 2 hard boiled eggs, yolk removed, chopped, , 1 1/2 cups yellow cornmeal, 1/2 cup all purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, pinch of salt, 2-4 tablespoons sugar, 1 egg, 1 cup milk, 1/4 cup oil



6. Corn Bread Stuffing Balls
1 pkg. corn bread stuffing mix, 1 onion, Sage; optional
