Hearty Italian Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb. bulk Italian sausage, mild1 (15 oz.) can Italian style tomatoes, peeled
1/2 c. green pepper, diced
1/2 c. onion, diced
1 tsp. garlic, minced garlic or garlic powder
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 c. water
1 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
3/4 c. pasta shells (or tortellini)
Cooking Directions:
In large pot brown sausage with onion and pepper. Drain thoroughly. Add everything else EXCEPT pasta and cheese. Simmer 15 minutes. Add pasta shells. Simmer 10 to 12 minutes. Serve hot garnished with cheese.Other Recipes you might like:
