Ham Steak With Rum Raisin Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
1 tbsp. raisins1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. pineapple juice
Ham steak, about 1 lb.
1/4 c. good rum
Cooking Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put raisins in a small bowl and pour boiling water over. Let stand several minutes, then drain.Mix brown sugar and ginger to a paste in a little pineapple juice. Spread mixture on both sides of ham. Place in a baking pan and sprinkle with raisins.
Combine remaining pineapple juice and rum and pour around ham in pan. Bake for 30 minutes.
Remove ham to a serving dish and pour over pan juices. Serves 2 to 3.
