Asparagus Souffle Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pkg. lime Jello1/2 c. water
1 can cream of asparagus soup
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 tbsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. grated onion
Tabasco
3/4 c. chopped celery
1 tbsp. snipped parsley
1/4 c. shredded cucumber (no seeds)
Cooking Directions:
Cucumber may be quartered and deseeded or omitted altogether.Over low to medium heat, dissolve Jello in water and stir in soup. Add mayonnaise, vinegar, onion and Tabasco. Put in bowl and beat with electric beater until smooth. Chill until slightly set (this takes a few hours).
Beat again until fluffy. Fold in celery, parsley, and cucumber. Put in 9x13 inch shallow dish and chill until firm. Garnish with lime slices and serve with sour cream. Serves 6-8.
