Potato And Cabbage Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 c. butter1 sm. cabbage, chopped coarsely
2 lg. onions, sliced
4 potatoes, boiled and sliced
1/4 c. flour
2 tbsp. butter
2 c. American or Cheddar cheese
1 (13 oz.) can chicken broth
Cooking Directions:
In large pan, heat 1/4 cup butter and saute cabbage and onion until wilted. Place 1/2 of the cabbage, onion, and potatoes in 3 quart casserole. Sprinkle with 1 cup shredded cheese. Put remaining cabbage, onions, and potatoes on top. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add 1/4 cup flour. Cook 1 minute and add can of broth. Cook until thickened. Pour over top of cabbage. Sprinkle 1 cup of cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.Other Recipes you might like:
