Bonnie's Collard Greens Recipe
Ingredients:
2 medium size Ham Hocks1 sm. onion (leave whole)
1/2 green pepper (leave whole)
2 bunches of collar greens, washed, broken into medium pieces
1 tsp. of salt
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1 tbsp. bacon drippings
Cooking Directions:
In a 4 quart pot place onion, green pepper, red pepper and fried meat dripping in 3 quarts of water, cook until ham hocks are done. Add collard greens, add salt to taste, cook until tender.Other Recipes you might like:
