Creamed Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c. sliced mushrooms1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. half and half
1 c. shredded cheese
Dash of salt
Dash of cayenne pepper
4 slices of toasted bread
Cooking Directions:
Saute mushrooms in butter until brown. Mix cornstarch and half and half. Add to mushrooms and simmer, stirring until thickened. Fold in cheese until it melts smoothly into the sauce. Add salt and cayenne pepper. Serve over toast.Other Recipes you might like:
