Sour Cream-chicken Squares Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c. prepared biscuit mix1/2 c. cold water
1 c. cut-up chicken
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimento
1/2 c. sliced green onion
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 c. dairy sour cream
1/3 c. mayonnaise
3 eggs
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. pepper
Cooking Directions:
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease baking dish 13x9x2 inches and set aside.Mix biscuit mix and water until soft dough forms. Beat vigorously for 20 strokes. Gently smooth dough into ball on floured covered board. Knead 5 times. Roll dough into rectangle 14x10 inches. Place dough in dish so edges are 1/2-inch up the sides.
Mix remaining ingredients. Pour evenly over dough. Bake until edges are golden and knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 25 minutes. Makes 6-8 servings.
