Moussaka Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb. potatoes1/2 c. oil
Salt and pepper
4 eggplant
2 onions
1 lb. ground beef
Pinches of: paprika, thyme, sage and rosemary
2 tbsp. mashed tomatoes
1/2 c. meat broth
BATTER - (Saliwka) :
2/3 c. yogurt
3 eggs
1/8 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. flour
Salt
Cooking Directions:
Peel and slice potatoes, bake with salt in hot oil; remove from pan. Cut eggplants in half, salt and let stand for 1/2 hour. Bake the eggplant in oil until the inside can be easily removed. Fry the ground beef with diced onion. Add the eggplant and herbs. Stir while simmer frying.Other Recipes you might like:
