Green Fried Tomatoes Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb. green tomatoes (2 lg. ones)1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. oil
Cooking Directions:
Slice tomatoes 1/4 inch thick. Mix flour, salt, pepper. Beat eggs, add milk. Dip tomato in egg, milk and then flour. Heat skillet, add oil, fry tomatoes until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot. Yummy on a sandwich.Other Recipes you might like:
