Glazed Carrots Recipe

Ingredients:

3 c. carrots, in strips, chunks, or slices
Salt
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. packed brown sugar

Cooking Directions:

Cook carrots in a small amount of boiling, salted water; drain. In heavy skillet over low heat, blend remaining ingredients and 1 tablespoon water. Add carrots and cook slowly, turning several times, 5 to 10 minutes or until glazed. Serves 4 to 6.

Note: For sweet-sour flavor, substitute 1 or more tablespoons lemon juice for the water.
